Dear Friends;
For the last 20 years, the CACP has worked hard to enhance consumer rights in California and around the nation. Often, we have done this for little or no money - simply because it is the right thing to do. Even so, we a great track record, and have continued to provide a variety of services to (and for) consumers - from legislative help to specific consumer oriented advice. Over the years, those services have grown to include:
- Online News & Information (this website)
- Consumer Advocacy training (www.lobbyist.org)
- Testifying before legislative bodies
- Helping consumers with real life problems
- Providing a free, consumer manned information hot line - where no one is turned away
As I am sure you can imagine, with the economy being ‘in such bad shape’, we’re receiving calls for help from consumers with problems ranging from from car repossessions and wage loss law suits to home & personal credit problems (credit cards & foreclosures). Along the way, we still continue to help consumers with normal everyday personal property related issues. Again, thanks to “the economy”, these consumer problems are growing and are keeping us jumping - so much so that we could really, really use your help.
No, I am not going to put the “strong arm” on you and ask you for a $$$ donation, Rather what I am going to do is ask this: thanks to Google, we can earn money and it won’t cost you a cent....
Simply put, when you do a search on this page (or our site) and click on one of Google’s ads, not only do THEY earn money - but WE DO ALSO - and we sure could use that money to help other consumers...... consumers like yourself...
So, after you do your search, could you please do us a favor and click on two or three of the Google ads - and your doing that will sure help us and consumers like yourself out TREMENDOUSLY.
Thank you very much for using our site, we hope you enjoy it and learn from it - and yes, thank you for reading this message.
If I can be of any service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me either by email or phone.
Sincerely
Michael Ross, Consumer Advocate
P. S. I do want it made clear that it is not mandatory to click on any links to get information from this site or to call our offices and speak to someone about your problem - its just a way for us to use Google to raise some extra funds!
